San Andreas, CA — 20 year old Dwayne Siegfried of Copperopolis is being investigated by the CHP for possible drunk driving following his single vehicle accident Wednesday evening minutes before ten o´clock.

Siegfried was eastbound on Reeds Turn Pike west of O´Byrnes Ferry Rd. at approximately 60mph when he allowed his vehicle to turn right and exit the roadway. He overcorrected and turned sharply to the left losing control of his vehicle. Siegfried traveled across the traffic lanes and off the road finally hitting a dirt embankment. The 1998 Ford Explorer overturned, but Siegfried escaped serious injury because he was wearing his seat belt.

He was treated for minor injuries at Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital in San Andreas.
