Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department is asking for the public´s assistance in locating 79 year old Paul Ervin Durkee.

At five o´clock Thursday evening, Durkee´s caregiver told his daughter that she had not seen him. 90 minutes later the department received a call stating that an elderly man with a similar description had asked for directions to Tuolumne City. He appeared to be confused. At 10:30pm Durkee´s daughter officially filed a “missing person´s” report.

Durkee stands five feet ten inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He was driving a 2001 Chrysler 300M with California license plate 4TJF504.
