San Andreas, CA — The proposed Spring Valley development would add 1,000 homes to an area just outside of Valley Springs.
Wednesday the developer´s agent Mike Dell´Orto briefed the Calaveras County Water District Board of Directors about the 450-acre project on the former Ponte Ranch.
A district employee said it was discussed and well received by the board.
The project is half within the district´s sphere of influence and half in the Valley Springs Public Utility District´s area.
As proposed the project would operate under the Valley Springs district. But Dell´Orto said there´s a lot of issues the two districts can work together on.
The project is expected to be submitted to the county in about one month.
