Sonora, Ca — Travelers in the 20000 block of Phoenix Lake Rd. should be prepared for a considerable a delay as officials are on scene of arching power lines.

20764 Phoenix Lake Rd. is temporarily closed down as officials are assessing the situation.

CHP Officer Tom Wills says traffic control operations are in place, as the evening commute time is approaching. There is currently not a timeframe for when the road will be back open. Officers are currently working to set up a detour.
