West Point, CA — Senator Dave Cox plans on coming to Calaveras County for a visit Friday.

The Republican Cox represents the first Senate District that covers Calaveras and 11 other counties.

Cox´s office confirmed that District 2 county Supervisor Steve Wilensky invited him to tour his district.

A representative said Cox has been very aggressive in visiting every part of his district and welcomes this opportunity for a first hand look.

Wilensky´s district covers West Point, Rail Road Flat, Glencoe, Mountain Ranch and Mokelumne Hill.
