Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Library has an event today for those who feel they are lost when it comes to operating a computer.
The Tech-Know Rodeo will run from 9:30am to 3pm. Tech Services Librarian Maggie Durgin says it is designed to give individuals the know-how to use electronic devices with confidence. Topics will include how to find books on computer, place requests from home, get free government forms, see good homework sites, try out an Ipod, and use Microsoft Word.
The event is designed to display what the library has and to show library users how to take advantage of it. Residents can come and go throughout the day. It is free of charge.
