Strawberry, CA — Fire has destroyed a Strawberry area cabin this afternoon.

Battalion Chief Chris Jensen of the C.D.F. Emergency Command Center in San Andreas reports the address as 28313 Tanager Drive.

At this time there are no reports of injuries and no cause of the fire has been determined at this time. Jensen adds there may have been some damage to a nearby structure.

C.D.F. personnel remain on scene and will be there, according to Jensen, for at least the next couple of hours.
