The Mother Lode Fairgrounds was the scene of hot music and some spicy food Saturday Night, and it was all for a good cause.

The Blues Box Bayou Band provided live music, and all kinds of cajun food was served, from jimbalaya to gumbo, and from catfish to bread pudding.

The money raised at the event, with ticket prices and a raffle, will benefit the Sonora Sunrise Rotary.
