Sonora, CA — Mother Lode Roundup weekend is underway. Festivities got started at 10:00 this morning with the 48th annual Mother Lode Roundup parade.
Almost 160 entries marched down Washington Street on a sunny Sonora spring morning.
The parade was led by Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Posse, followed by several members of the Posse.
Roundup Queen Kim Silva and this year´s queen contestants were also on hand. Thousands of spectators from all over the state lined the street to watch the two-hour parade.
