Jamestown, CA — Thursday was the first full day of operation for the one and only stoplight in Jamestown.

The 4-way light is expected to make it easier for drivers who want to turn onto Highway 108 from Rawhide Road and Humbug Street.

The high number of accidents at the intersection prompted Cal-Trans to begin work on the project in March.
