Disruptions at oil refineries in the San Francisco Bay area have pushed up wholesale gasoline prices by 10 cents per gallon.

Technical problems over the past two weeks at refineries of three oil companies caused a 6-8% decline in state wide gas production.

A state official says the refiners are drawing on reserves and obtaining gas from out of state.
