The call is going out for contributions to the County Library´s “Born To Read Fund”.

The money will go to purchase a “bookmobile”. The bus will offer library services and books for people of all ages who live too far away from the chain of libraries in the county.

The cost to buy the bus is 100 thousand dollars. The Sonora 49er Rotary and the Sonora Area Foundation have already pledged a combined 25 thousand dollars towards the project.

Tax deductible contributions can be made out to the Sonora Area Foundation.
