A clergyman has died from being crushed in San Francisco when a heavy iron church gate came off its tracks and fell on him.

San Francisco Police said 71 year old Reverend Paul Belcher of Saint Agnes Church was killed last night by a falling gate that is eight feet high and 15-feet long.
