Artin Mahmoudi, MD, is a pulmonologist/intensivist who has just joined the medical staff at Sonora Regional Medical Center. He provides care for inpatients at the hospital and for outpatients at Sierra Internal Medicine. Dr. Mahmoudi has moved to Sonora from Beijing, China, where he practiced for 11 years with the United Family Hospitals and Clinics, an American Joint Venture hospital. He also lived and practiced for nine years in Saipan, a United States protectorate in the northern Pacific. Dr. Mahmoudi earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed a three-year residency in internal medicine and four-year fellowship in pulmonary sciences and critical care medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.
