“At the Water’s Edge”
Is a week-long immersive environmental art exhibition, presented by multimedia artist Peggy Reza. This walk-through gallery offers several large dioramas that depict the life of streams and waterways in Tuolumne County with surrounding sounds and special lighting to take you on a “walk in nature.” Learn who lives at the water’s edge. Scientists called this The Riparian Zone, and its health is important to all living things.

Columbia’s Miners’ Hall will be open from 10AM to 4PM every day from 4/22 to 4/29 for viewing. School groups, families, State Park visitors and locals are welcomed to visit this FREE exhibition in the Miners’ Hall, located right beside the Chicken Coop. No reservations are needed to attend. Artist Peggy Reza will be your guide, and on-hand to answer questions about her art endeavor.

This nonprofit project is funded by California’s Heartland Creative Corps, and is designed to build awareness on the sensitive nature of our waterways and the importance of protecting them.

Sponsors for “At the Water’s Edge” are Tuolumne County Arts, United Way of Merced County, California State Parks, and the California Arts Council.
