FACTS invites you to attend our first Tuolumne County Fentanyl Awareness Event! We are losing too many people to Fentanyl Poisoning in our county! Please join us for a day filled with education as well as some super cool entertainment!
There will be guest speakers from various county agencies, including Dr. Kimberly Freeman, Director of Tuolumne County Public Health and Chairperson of the Tuolumne County Opiate Safety Coalition. In addition, there will be speakers in addiction recovery to share their success stories.
There will be free fentanyl test strips, Narcan and Narcan training. There will be various Drug and Addiction Awareness Organizations available to provide resources and assistance to those who have questions about this painful epidemic. They will be there to help those in need of critical life-saving information.
Additionally, there will be plenty of entertainment. There will be a car/motorcycle show, DJ, and activities for children. There will be food and drinks available for purchase. Our goal is to educate and encourage people to get involved. We need legislative changes and need your support to make them happen!
If you’ve lost a loved one to addiction or fentanyl poisoning, please feel free to bring a picture of your loved one to share!
