The Mural depicts the history and industry that existed in Jamestown in the 1800’s. The largest photograph is of the Number 3 steam engine pulling into the Jamestown train station with the Hotel Nevills in the background.
The Mural Project of Jamestown is the final segment of the Walk of Fame. This project was funded by the Sonora Area Foundation and the Tuolumne County Public Works Department as part of the street revitalization of the project.
