Murphys Rockslide Cleared

Murphys, CA — The rockslide that partially blocked traffic on Murphys Grade Road has been cleared.
Just before 7 p.m. Thursday a rockslide blocked the westbound lane of Murphys Grade Road. Drivers had to negotiate their way around the blockage until CHP could arrive on scene.
A van was involved and had to be cleared from the roadway but no one was injured.
County road crews cleared the debris and the road was back open by 8:45 p.m.
