Sacramento, CA — Thursday the Chief Probation Officers of California named Senate Republican Leader Dave Cogdill as the 2008 Outstanding Legislator in recognition of his continued commitment to protecting public safety.

The mission of the Association is to provide leadership in the mobilization, coordination and implementation of probation programs and provide for public protection.
