Sonora, CA — All of the rain in the Mother Lode seems to be causing some problems in the lower elevations, however up at the ski resorts the weather is a dream come true.
Bear Valley and Dodge Ridge have been experiencing huge turnouts this week, despite the storms. Bear Valley Marketing Director Rosie Sundell says there were more people skiing in the storm than she would have expected.
Paul Jones with Dodge Ridge says the parking lot was full today, and he expects a large crowd on New Year´s Day as well. Sundell says Saturday and Sunday will be two great days to ski, and she hopes the forecasters are right about the weather.
