Sonora, CA — A pair of 19 year old Groveland residents, Grace Elizabeth Carder and Nicholas Jordan Fereria, are scheduled for a preliminary hearing setting in Department Three of Tuolumne County Superior Court at 1:15 this afternoon.

According to court documents Carder supplied 19 year old Clinton Holt, also of Groveland, with methodone she had stolen from a cancer patient. On August 18th of this year Holt died from an overdose of the methodone. In addition he had a blood alcohol content of .16, twice the legal limit.

Carder is being charged with petty theft, possession of a controlled substance and supplying a controlled substance to another individual.

Fereria is being charged with possession of a controlled substance.
