Oakdale, CA — 18 year old Katherine Pier suffered major injuries including two broken legs and facial injuries when she was hit by an SUV driven by 47 year old Tamara Panter of Sonora Wednesday.

According to the Modesto Bee that accident occured at F Street and Gilbert Ave. in Oakdale. Panter told police she didn´t see Pier who was in a crosswalk.

Pier had to be lifeflighted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
