San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Emergency Command Center Communications Operator Jim DeVoll, a seven acre vegetation fire west of Copperopolis on Hwy 4 has been contained.

No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. Cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
