Sonora, Ca — Clarke Broadcasting Corporation´s H. Randolph Holder was presented the Outstanding Livestock Buyer of the Year award at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds Wednesday afternoon.

The honor is presented annually by Mother Lode Fair Livestock Committee. It was noted that Holder has supported the auction and been a buyer for 23 years.

The 2008 Mother Lode Fair will open at four o´clock Thursday afternoon. This year´s Junior Livestock Auction will be held on Saturday evening and the Small Livestock Auction on Sunday morning.
