Sonora, CA — A special joint meeting between the Sonora City Council and the Sonora Planning Commission has shed some light on the General Plan.

Council members discussed plans for zoning, development, ordinances, and they also reviewed maps dating back to the 1980´s.

Amy Augustine with the Planning Commission gave a presentation and answered questions regarding the General Plan and zoning.

A public hearing will be held to let the community know if their neighborhoods may be considered a different zone.
