A Memorial Mass for life-long Tuolumne County resident Irving J. Symons will be held on Monday, January 17th, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick´s Catholic Church in Sonora.

Symons was 97 years old when he died at home on December 26th. He was born in Sonora on November 21st, 1907. A private family service has already been held. The family request that donations to a favorite charity be made in lieu of flowers. Monday´s Memorial Service is open to the public to attend.
