Sonora, CA — KVML News has learned that the Albertson´s store in the Junction Shopping Center will close on February 17.

Approximately 70 employees will lose their job.

On November 27 Save Mart Supermarkets announced it will acquire 132 Albertson´s stores in northern California and northern Nevada. At that time Save Mart officials made no mention of any future plans for the Albertson´s store.
