Four people were reportedly injured today in a two-vehicle accident in Calaveras County.

The vehicles were blocking the roadway, at Highway 26 and the Zippy Mart, following the wreck which occurred at around 11:30am.

The CHP reports two patients had to be airlifted to medical centers for their injuries, although exact injuries remain unspecified.

Other patients were taken via ground ambulance to Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital.
