Regional Forester Jack Blackwell, in Sonora to meet with US Forest Service staff, area residents and community leaders, related the strong concerns recreational enthusiasts have voiced on how the finished Sierra Nevada Framework will affect their use of the forest.

Blackwell is also looking at the cattle grazing, fire treatments, and local community impacts of the Framework plan. His review findings are due by next December.
