The California Highway Patrol is celebrating their 75 birthday today. In observance, the Sonora office of the CHP in Jamestown is holding an open house today until 2 p.m. A CHP patrol car and SUV cruiser will be on display. Officers will give tours, do car seat checkups.

The CHP office is on Fifth Avenue off Highway 108 in Jamestown.
