Jet Skier Charged In Calaveras County

Calaveras County deputies have charged a San Francisco man with felony Hit-and-Run, after a jet ski accident this weekend.
Deputies were called to Lake Comanche after a swimmer was struck by a jet ski while trying to tie a tow rope to a disabled vessel. Witnesses said 29-year-old Rafael Garcia fled the scene, beached his jet ski, and ran. He was later arrested at his campsite, and placed under 20-thousand dollars bail. The victim was treated for head lacerations.
