Thousands of Nike basketball shoes are heading for Alaska after they spilled from a tanker off California´s rugged North Coast. Some 33,000 sneakers fell from a cargo ship in December during a storm off Cape Mendocino. A beachcomber found two new Nikes on Washington´s Olympic Peninsula last month. Unfortunately, they were different sizes and both left feet.
