Tuolumne County deputies have two 19-year-old Sonora men jailed, after a brief altercation along highway 108 this morning. Deputies spotted a car they had been looking for, in connection with an earlier call, parked in a driveway just off the highway.
A search of the two occupants turned up methamphetamine and other narcotics, according to sheriff’s Lt. John Steely. Jeffe John Shaw and Jason Mitchell Corder were taken into custody. Steely says Shaw kicked out a window in the patrol car during the arrest. He’s being held under $20,000 bail on drug charges.
Corder is charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance. His bail is $5,000.
