Firefighters are still investigating a blaze that burned an acre of grass in Tuolumne City this noontime.
Tuolumne Fire District Chief Kevin Patten says the cause is suspicious.
Two air tankers and several firefighters on the ground corralled the fire quickly
with no injuries. Loss is estimated at about 200 dollars. The fire was in the same area that burned two years ago, destroying a vintage tressle that had been used
by the West Side Lumber Company.
