A Lakewood real estate executive accused of killing his wife has been released from jail after posting one million dollars bail.
Bruce Koklich pleaded innocent earlier this month to charges he murdered Jana Carpenter-Koklich, the daughter of the late former state Senator Paul Carpenter. The woman disappeared nearly six months ago and her body has never been found.
Koklich had reported his wife missing August 20th and offered a 100-thousand dollar reward for information about her whereabouts.
Investigators have so far declined to elaborate on the evidence they have against Koklich, except to say that a small amount of Carpenter-Koklich´s blood was found in the couple´s bedroom.
Koklich has a preliminary hearing scheduled for February 27th.
