Fire officials have lifted some outdoor burning restrictions in the area.

In Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties, burning will be allowed by permit from 5 p.m. until 8 a.m. only. Restrictions still apply during daytime hours.

The National Forest Service has lifted fire restrictions from High Hazard Areas of the Stanisalus National Forest. Officials stress that campfire permits are still required for all areas outside of designated campgrounds.
