Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies were very busy Monday with drug arrests. Deputies conducted a
search of 39 year old Thomas Hickman´s home in Carson Hill and found a methamphetamine lab in an outbuilding near the house and evidence of the drug
being made in his bedroom. He was arrested and booked into county jail in lieu of 90 thousand dollars bail.

In Valley Springs, deputies arrested 34
year old Corey Gruneich (groo-nick) on an arrest warrant. Deputies searched the car he was using and found a methamphetamine lab and chemicals needed to
make the drug. He was also arrested and booked in jail in lieu of 185 thousand dollars bail.
