Voter turnout in Tuolumne County has been lower than expected with a hotly contested TUD Board race on the ballot.

The numbers can be deceiving as turnout is actually five percent higher than the 2000 local elections. Election results will be broadcast on KVML, starting at 8:30 tonight. Results will also be posted right here on mymotherlode.com.
