Firefighters from Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties will take part in a wildfire fire combat academy next
month. The purpose is for rookie and seasoned firefighters to sharpen their skills through training exercises to prepare for what´s being called a dangerous fire
season this year.

It will be held June second at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds.
