California Highway Patrol officers were busy in virtually the same section of Highway 108 this morning with
accidents, each involving big rig trucks. On 108 near Yosemite Junction, 44 year old James Chrisman of Modesto was driving his truck east when somehow he
allowed his truck to go off the road and hit a utility pole. he was not injured and his truck only received minor damages.
A little while later, 48 year old
William Manley of Delhi drove his truck west on 108 when he hit the broken power line from the fallen utility pole of the previous accident. Like Chrisman
before him in the previous accident, Manley was not injured. His truck´s windshield was damaged.
