A Douglas Flat man is back at home after being stranded overnight near New Melones Lake. Calaveras
County Search and Rescue officers say 41 year old Craig Schuch was windsurfing near Glory Hole Point last night when the wind died down. His sail got lost
and he had to spend the night on a remote area on shore.
Officers searched the night but didn´t find Schuch until 7 o´clock this morning. He was taken
back to Glory Hole Point injury free.
California Highway Patrol helicopters assisted Calaveras Search and Rescue in the incident.
