At least for now, the Tuolumne County Alliance for Resources and Environment is breaking off its working
relationship with the U-S Forest service.

President Terry Easley places the blame squarely on Supervisor Ben Del Villar´s shoulders, after his rejection
of a timber sale TuCare says should have been ok´d prior to adoption of the new Forest management plan.

Armstrong says no valid or understandable
reason was given for Forest officials´ decision to disallow the sales.
