More than 14-thousand cancer survivors, family members and other supporters gathered in San Francisco´s Golden Gate Park today. They walked five miles to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the second most deadly form of cancer for women in the nation. Nearly 21-thousand California women diagnosed with the disease annually. The American Cancer Society spokeswoman says walkers raised 910-thousand dollars that will go to research, education and patients´ services.
