After hinting at this week’s Tuolumne County Supervisors meeting that the Standard Park repair work would be completed soon, the Recreation Department has announced an anticipated reopening date.
A meeting today will focus on the plan that defines the roles of Tuolumne County government agencies, jurisdictional and federal partners, private sector partners, community groups, and the general public during times of emergencies.
Storm repairs have been completed a day earlier than initially anticipated on Big Oak Flat Road, the extension of Highway 120 in Yosemite National Park.
There is more time for Tuolumne County residents to register for potential storm-related assistance from FEMA resulting from impacts dating back to February.
CAL Fire reports that the recent storms brought down many Ponderosa pines, and they are requesting that they be treated and monitored to prevent spreading.
