Firefighters Sent Out Of Area

San Andreas, CA — Firefighters from the Mother Lode are being sent out to help fight lightning fires across the state.
In Southern California, a blaze in the Old West Ranch community, about 10 miles south of Tehachapi is 25 percent contained. It has burned 1,400 acres and between 25 to 40 structures. On scene is a local government strike team, consisting of Murphys Fire, Central Calaveras Fire, San Andreas Fire, Altaville Melones Fire, West Point Fire and Ebbetts Pass Fire. CAL Fire has also sent two strike teams of crews, two air tankers and seven overhead personnel.
To a fire up in Lassen County, CAL Fire has sent one strike team of engines and one strike team of crews.
