Names have been released in that double-fatal accident near Oakdale on Friday evening.
47-year-old Janet Bourdeau was headed westbound on Highway 108 Friday evening, when the CHP says she allowed her Ford F-150 to drift into the oncoming lane. The truck hit a Honda Civic driven by 33-year-old Torey Herndon. A third vehicle, a GMC Sierra, was behind the Civic and also hit the pickup, but the driver was not injured.
Herndon was dead at the scene, and reports say Bourdeau died a short time later. The investigation, including autopsies, is continuing.
