New Device To Catch Taggers

An Escondido-based company is unveiling a new graffiti alarm that reacts to the sound of a spray can. The device – called Taggertrap – uses ultrasound technology to recognize the sound of an aerosol can in use. Traptec Corporation is still testing the invention, but it will be demonstrated tomorrow in Escondido near San Diego.
