Modesto Council Concealed Weapons OK´d

The Modesto City Council has rejected a proposal to ban concealed weapons from council meetings. Mayor Carmen Sabatino proposed the idea after a council member who is a retired sheriff€™s deputy refused to say whether he brought a gun to a heated public hearing. Council members will now inform police or security if they bring a concealed weapon.
