Guilty Plea In California Energy Manipulation Fraud

Former top energy trader Timothy Belden has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Belden is the first person to be charged in the manipulation of Western energy markets. He has agreed to cooperate with state and federal prosecutors in investigations of the energy industry.
