New Eatery in Standard
Standard, CA– No fooling, tomorrow April 1st is the grand opening of a new eatery in Standard.
According to owner Sally Arnold, Schnoog’s Station on Standard Road, is similar to Schnoog’s Café in Sonora. Arnold says they have sandwiches, pastries and all the same espresso and smoothie drinks.
“It’s all real food, real fast and we have a drive-thru here in Standard,” said Arnold. “We have a sit in café with four tables and we’ll have outside seating.”
Arnold says Schnoog’s Station even has a bit of history.
“We call it Schnoog’s Station because the building looks like an old gas station, but in reality this is actually the original firehouse in Standard. We even found a patch of the old red paint from the original fire house on the wall.”
Schnoog’s Station is located at 19051 Standard Road in Standard. Hours of business are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, and soon on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
